Truck 9 Responds to Bowie Blaze

At 0500 hours yesterday morning the tones dropped alerting Truck 9 to respond for the house fire in the 9800 block of Tulip Tree Drive in Bowie Maryland. Units arrived with fire showing from side Charlie and everyone went to work.

Truck Company 9 opened up for engine companies both in the fire unit and exposure. Crews had fire on multiple floors as well as the attic space.

Units on scene operated for approximately two hours before returning to service. This was the second working fire for the Bladensburg volunteers in 24 hours.
