Explosion at PGPD District Courthouse in Hyattsville

Just after 11 a.m. units were dispatched for reports of an explosion with multiple fires at the PGPD District 1 Courthouse in Hyattsville. Upon arrival units had smoke showing from the parking garage as well as level one of the structure. Truck 9 went in to investigate and determined it to be a Vehicle on fire in an underground level of the parking garage. The first due engine stretched a leader line and made their way down a level to extinguish the fire. Due to the volume of smoke in such a large structure a fan boat was called to be used for ventilation from a neighboring jurisdiction.
