BVFD Members Respond to Fatal House Fire

Just before 1 PM yesterday afternoon Truck 9 and Chief 9A were alerted to respond to the corner of Cabin Branch Road and Willburn Drive for the report of a house on fire.

The first arriving units had smoke from all sides with fire showing on side Delta. It was updated that there was people possibly trapped which proved to be true. One priority 4 victim was located in the basement and a second occupant was removed from division 2.

Truck 9 was the third due special service and operated accordingly. Units remained on scene for approximately two hours before returning to service. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.
