Shortly after 1900 hours, Engine 94, Truck 9, and Chief 9A were alerted to respond to the 3700 Block of Bunker Hill Road for the reports of an apartment on fire. Units from Company 9 arrived on scene to find smoke showing from side alpha, as well as fire showing from side charlie with additional reports of people trapped. The crew from Engine 94 stretched the 400 foot attack line to the building, and operated inside. Interior crews from Truck 9 performed searches of the fire apartment, while the exterior crews ventilated and assisted in removing one occupant from the 3rd floor via ground ladder. Units operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service. Chief 9A had the Bunker Hill Road Command.
