Thursday, August 6, 2009 Check your smoke detectors monthly. Prepare and practice fire exit drills with your family. In the event of a fire, call the fire department immediately! Do not waste time calling friends, relatives, rental offices or anywhere else. If you have an emergency and you need the fire department, DO NOT DELAY THAT CALL – CALL 911, get out of the house or building and then you can call the others on your list, once you are safe.
For any help, special instructions or just a tour of the fire station stop on by and the firemen will be glad to show you around and talk with you about fire prevention.
