Just after 1600 hours, Engines 92 and 94 were alerted to 3810 40th Avenue (55) for the house fire. Engine 55 arrived on the scene of a two story single with fire showing from side "B". Engine Company 9 with 11 men arrived next and stretched two additional lines towards the house. Engine 55 and 94 pushed down the hallway, while Engine 92 advanced up a ladder to Division 2. All three lines worked for 15 minutes to bring it under control. All first alarm units and an additional engine/truck worked for another 90 minutes opening up.

One firefighter from 55 and the home owner were transported to the hospital for minor injuries. Company 9 cleared the scene at 1900 hours.
