After finishing up the holiday meal, the Engine Company was advised of a possible fire on Bladensburg Road. Engine 93 and Engine 55 arrived on the scene of a large brush fire against a warehouse. The Engine crew stretched two lines to knock the fire. Truck 9 was added to the call to provide lights and chainsaws. All companies cleared the scene in an hour.

After pulling back in the bays, Box 3011 was sounded for the house fire at 5106 70th Place for the house fire. Engine 30 arrived on the scene of a two story duplex, with smoke showing. Engine 30, 28 and Truck 9 gained entry and found the kitchen and stairwell on fire. Crews made quick work of the fire. Engine 93 stretched a line to the top floor to check for extension. After 30 minutes, Command scaled the call back to 2&1. Company cleared the scene at 0135 hours.
