Just before 2200 on March 12th Company 9 was alerted to reports of a house on fire in Riverdale, MD. Units on scene arrived to find a three story house fully involved. Bladensburg Volunteers turned out with 2 engines, the truck and an ambulance. Crews quickly worked to get multiple hand lines in service as well as set up Truck Co.9’s Ladder Pipe. With multiple master streams in operation on the fire ground, the fire was brought under control and extinguished. Crews operated for approximately 3 hours before going in service. This was the second working fire for company 9 in 24 hours.
